The Acne Inversa Severity Index (AISI) disease severity assessment tool for hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) proved simple, fast, dynamic, and accurate when tested in 46 patients with HS and could represent an ideal measurement for HS severity in both real-life and clinical trial settings. This according to a comparison with other validated measurements, including the Hurley staging classification, modified Sartorius score, and the Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI).
